Just a cool idea I thought of, how about a feature that allows us to attach files to posts that we make on the boards, or how about the ability to quicknote a file to someone?

I dunno, could be dangerous.

Nice idea. Not quite sure how it would work. I'd advise against message board attachments, how would quicknote attachments work? I'd imagine an html pane with a browse button etc.

Wouldn't this be a major virus risk? Just a thought.

Yeap, tis why you wouldn't integrate it into main messageboard

Nope, file uploads or attachments would expose the site to copyright infringement law suits, virus problems etc, would be cool but I see a lot of reasons why the administrators of this site would not want to implement it. For file attachments there's a lot of ftp communities, mirc and other file sharing programs out there so if you really want to exchange files it can be done without the use of this site (even instant messangers do this as well) so that's really your best bet.

It may be, but that would be a neat idea!!! Good thinking!

I'm not totally against this idea, though if we implemented it, it'd probably be mainly used for premium members...but, we'll see what we can do.

hmm, if you want to send files why not just use dropload.com or yousendit.com? I mean this is crazy.... I am not against the idea but I think its unnecesary

This has bandwidth and possible copyright violation issues. Of course nothing stops you from using another service and sending a URL or something; you and that other service can hash out any issues.
